Dreamcast iso. I prefer getting my DC CDI files from ISOzone.com, because they do the best job of telling which rip of a particular game you're downloading. General gaming sites are ok if you've made them and they include write ups of Dreamcast info. Conditions: Be a member of and the website must be on topic.
I have owned the FTDX5000MP for close to a year now. Purchased from DXE. Production of mine was late 2017. Being a late production model, this one should not have the OLED issue.
The receiver filtering on this radio is amazing. One can really pull weak signals out of the QRM/QRN. The front panel controls are ergonomically located, making this rig a pleasure to operate. Dual receivers!!! I'm using a Heil PR-40 straight to the rig, and now also with a Heil Pro 7 headset. Rig is configured with Heil's recommended parametric EQ settings, and I receive many unsolicited excellent transmitted audio comments.
The key to enjoying the numerous feature of this rig, is to read, and re-read the owners manual. And then keep it by the rig for quick reference. By not doing so, you will be missing out on the full capabilities of the FTDX5000MP. My previous Yaesu rigs were the FT-1000MP MK 5, and the FT-2000D. Both of these rig performed very well for me. Free my name ringtone.
However, this rig without a doubt is head and shoulders above my previous Yaesu rigs, in every way. WZ4I Hickory, NC Amateur Radio. The ORIGINAL Social Media Network. I've used my FT1000MP for the past 18 years and that radio has always worked great. I'm a 95% CW guy and am addicted to being able to listen to the DX station in left ear and the pile- up in right ear (headphones). I've loved that radio and had myself convinced it was all I would ever need-- but I was wrong. I must admit I was skeptical about all the rave reviews on the FTDX5000MP but in a moment of questionable sanity, I ordered one.
